The modern emblem
It was confirmed in June, 12th, 2001 by the decision of region council session.
Three ears of wheat, arranged in the form of a stylized tryzyb and entwined by the blue and yellow ribbon. The internal field is divided quarterly. First Argent; horseshoe Or. Second Azure; rig and gas complex. Third Argent; pine and silver birch Vert. Fourth Azure; symbolic mound and two swords in saltire. The shield is crowned by towel with the words "Kotelevschyna." The lower part of the shield is decorated by bunches of viburnum.
