The modern emblem
It was confirmed in March, 19th, 2004 by the decision #146 of region council session.
Gules; three fesses Argent, middle is wider, accompanied in the chief by mace and pen Or in saltire, in bottom by formy cross Or. Shield is bordered by a wreath from oak and maple leaves Or, entwined by ribbon Azure. In crest scroll with plan of the fortress. Motto - "In agreement with faith in goodness."
