It was confirmed in August, 4th, 2002 by the decision of city council session. Vert, Or, Azure by pall Argent burdened on each beam by three billets Purple, the middle of which is longer. Above all stylized eagle Or with spots Argent, on the chest triangle Sable. Shield accompanied in the bottom by ornament from two birds and put on oval Argent with border Or, over it four-pointed pierced star Azure. The oval is framed by a wreath from oak leaves Vert, inscribed in fillet circle Or; at the bottom of the wreath on ribbon Vert inscriptions "PETROVS'KE" and "1779" Or.
