The soviet emblem

It was confirmed in July, 29th, 1987 by the decision of city council session.

Gules; vert mountain on which are the or castle and the or twisting road going to it from azure circle. In a circle is the argent flower with the gules middle. The azure chief is charged by the argent inscription with the city name. In an azure wavy base are argent waves.
The silhouette of Zamkova mountain with the castle ruins is a sign of Carpathian mountains. The flower wild-growing narcissus symbolizes a unique relic valley of narcissuses which is near city. The base symbolizes the mountain rivers of the Yew and the River which are near city.
Borders of elements of the arms and external contours are allocated by or lines.
