It was confirmed in March, 18th, 1997 by the decision of IV village council session of III convocation. Vert; edelweiss argent, above it is broken (in three ledges, middle above two others) chief argent, below it is base or in fir tree. The shield is enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs.
The fir-tree section specifies Carpathian woods, vert field means development of resorts. Broken section means Carpathians, and an middle ledge - the mountain Goverla that is located on the territory of village council. A flower of an edelweiss is a sign of rare local flora.
