Ancient surnames old village families testify, that Pischana has gone through tatar attacks XVI century and the 1648-1654 war. From the list of families of 1652 and list of the village inhabitants in 1815 obviously, that at least three families not only have survived, but also have saved up patrimonial memory: Hrycenky (in 1652 was mentioned Fes'ko Hrychyshyn), Chorni-Chornenky (in 1652 - Maksym Chornyi) and Yastreby (in 1652 - Yas'ko Yastrems'kyi).
