It was confirmed in June, 9th, 2016 by the decision #60 of VIII region council session of VII convocation. Purple; two owls Or support obelisk Argent. Triangular chief Azure; three seven-pointed stars Argent, two and one. Under the shield on ribbon Azure, padding by Purple, inscription "The Sobornyi region" Or.
Obelisk represents the first historic landmark district - mile road that was built in 1787 at the site of the Preobrazhens'kyi Cathedral. One owl symbolizes higher education, located in the district. The second owl refers the landscape attraction, T.Shevchenko park. Stars indicate the territorial belonging to the Dnipro city. The authors are Yu.Barysheva, S.Danovych, O.Potap.
