The modern emblem

It was confirmed in February, 20th, 2001 by the decision of region council session.

Per fess chevronny. First Azure; rising sun with rays. Second Vert; hammer and hammer drill in saltire, under it is roll Argent. The elements of the coat of arms surrounded by ears of wheat Or, entwined by blue-and-yellow ribbon. The shield is framed by leaves and clusters of vibutnum which are entwined by white towel with inscription "Lutuhyns'kyi region".
