The modern emblem

It was confirmed in October, 31st, 2003 by the decision of region council session.

Gules; Archangel Michael in armor, which breaks devil Sable by spear. Chief Or; three eight-pointed stars Gules in fess. The shield is crowned by masoned crown Or with five towers, between the shield and the crown is inscription "Hadyats'kyi region." On the dexter side shield is framed by oak leaves, on the sinister by ears of rye, entwined by blue and yellow ribbon. Under the shield mace and bunchuk in saltire.
