The modern emblem
It was confirmed in April, 22nd, 2003 by the decision #03-01-06 of XXIV region council session.
Per saltire. First Azure; Virgin Mary with nimbus Or, in dress Argent holds cover Argent, on cloud Argent. Second and third Or. Fourth Azure; naissant embattled fortress wall with open gate and tower masoned by Sable, topped by cross Or. Shield is crowned by crown Or and enframed by ears Or, entwined by ribbon Azure with inscription "Skvyrs'kyi region."
