The soviet emblem
It was confirmed in June, 26th, 1968 by the decision #206 of city council executive committee.
Per fess. First Gules; military cap with a sabre Or. Second Azure; stylized image of hydroelectric power station as fillet fess Argent and seven fillet pales Argent. On it is half gear Or with branch of a grapes Or. Under pales are two wavy fillet fess Argent.
It continues to be used today.
