BOBRYNETS'

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in January, 11th, 2002 by the decision #632 of city council session.

Azure; sable escutcheon with or bustard, accompanied by eight or grain sheaves.
The symbolics is developed on the basis of the historical arms of the city confirmed in November, 7th, 1847. The arms is reconstructed with withdrawal of a provincial symbol which in due time carried out administrative function which does not answer modern territorial subordination of city, and the main thing - contradicts a principle of self-management, as an attribute of that the arms and a flag act.
Wheaten sheaves in the arms testify to old agricultural traditions of city which was the significant centre of corn-trade and the industrial base providing technical needs of an agriculture. Bustrad represents a kind of birds which once were characteristic inhabitants of local steppes.
