It was confirmed in June, 25th, 1976 by the decision #13 of city council executive committee. The board bend azure sinister with one ledge. In the first vert part is an argent deer, in the second gules part is an or ear in a fess. In the narrow azure base is argent glass vase. The azure chief is charged by the city name in the Ukrainian language. The board is topped with fules gear wall with or sickle and hammer on an average tower. Bend is a symbol of the Zolota Lypa (Gold Linden) river on which coast there is a city. A deer is symbol of the ancient city arm. A vase is a symbol of the glass industry. The author is Z.Myhoc'kyi.
