The soviet emblem
It was confirmed in September, 21st, 1971 by the decision of II city council session of XIII convocation.
Azure with chief Gules; five bees Or around of circle Gules with date "1784" Or. The chief is charged by sickle and hammer Or. Bees on a board mean the history of city and its name. The circle in the centre characterizes the city as a regional administrative centre. Bees and circle in the centre form a flower are the symbol of capital of blossoming territory.
